This was the very first project I did for Jackson shortly after first meeting him in my living room. My brother, Waddy, and Warren Zevon had brought him over. He and I went downtown to East LA to shoot photos for his songbook for "The Pretender" album. This was the book cover with lettering by Rick Griffin, the famous San Francisco poster artist.
